Conveniently situated behind the Camra acclaimed Three Horseshoes Pub  in the historically important Northamptonshire village of Ecton you will find Vinylfinders, a small yet perfectly formed used record and CD store owned run by self confessed music fanatic Paul Darwin.

Open on Sundays between 10.00am and 4.00pm you will find a wide selection of albums, singles and cd's all at sensible prices.

We have all genres covered, rock, folk, country, jazz, blues, classical and given our predilection for power-pop and alternative country these areas are particularly well represented.

Not all of our vast inventory is on show so please ask or e mail with any specific requirements and we do our upmost to find them for you.

We are not an online transactional site per se preferring face to face, voice to voice or even mail to mail communication.

We will however mail order items ordered via the above channels.

We will buy:

Records, CDs and music memorabilia items and collections of any size. We offer a friendly service and fair prices, or we offer a trade against any items in store.

Please contact us at vinylfinders@talktalk.net for further information or to discuss your requirements.

How We Got Here

For over 50 years music has been an absolute passion and collecting it has been a time, money and space consuming obsession

My father always said that I have never had a proper job (although thanks to St. Austell brewery I have drunk a fair few) having been a social secretary at Manchester University then a concert promoter and band tour manager and from then until now working in the audio industry has just enabled me to satisfy my musical fantasies.

I always harboured the ambition of opening a record store and sharing great music with like minded music fans and casual listeners alike and whilst Vinylfinders may not be the biggest store of its type in the world it certainly has the biggest heart.
